Megan M. Wallace concentrates in the areas of estate planning and administration, land use and zoning, business and corporate law, and representing non-profit and tax-exempt organizations. In addition to preparing wills, trusts, financial and health care powers of attorney, Ms. Wallace guides estate planning clients through the process of naming guardians for minor children and planning for the transfer of family businesses. Her clients include single people, married couples, families, and unmarried partners and their children.

Ms. Wallace counsels clients on matters related to business entity selection and formation, as well as ongoing operational issues. She also establishes tax-exempt and non-profit organizations. She has helped numerous clients through the complex process of establishing tax-exempt organizations and has counseled tax-exempt organizations on operational and administrative issues. Her clients include individuals, businesses, charitable and philanthropic foundations, religious institutions, and private schools.

Ms. Wallace counsels clients on real estate issues, including commercial acquisitions and leases, land use, zoning, and development. In her zoning and land use practice, Ms. Wallace has helped clients obtain special exceptions and variances. She also handles subdivisions matters and all aspects of land use and zoning law. Ms. Wallace represents clients in matters before administrative agencies, including the Montgomery County Council, the Montgomery County Planning Board, the Montgomery County Board of Appeals and the District of Columbia Board of Zoning Adjustment.

Ms. Wallace is the Treasurer of CREW Suburban Maryland and a member of The Barristers Club of Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association. Ms. Wallace is also active in the community serving as Parliamentarian and Mid-Atlantic Delegate for the Montgomery County Parents of Multiples Club, on the Steering Committee of the Agnes Scott College Alumnae Club, and as a Whitman-Walker Clinic volunteer.

Ms. Wallace received the highest A-V rating from the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory. This rating indicates that Ms. Wallace's peers rank her at the highest level of professional excellence.
